![]() ![]() It's a small place that doesn't stand out too much, but you owe it to yourself to stop by if you're ever in Johnson County. Overall, not shabby.Īll in all, I'd recommend this to anyone in the area who hasn't tried it, especially the zesty chef, at least once. As far as price goes, you'll get standard fare for pizzas (a small one topping pizza goes for about 7.50 I believe), the sandwiches are nicely priced at about 3-5 bucks. The food is served in a small diner, the walls covered in Harley Davidson decals and the like, and friendly waitresses available to take your order as soon as you're comfortable. Some people just don't like that much sauce. Like with the zesty chef, they use a generous amount of cheese, and the sauce is zesty, though in my opinion there's not enough of it, but that's just me. The only complaint I have with them is the way they do their dough, I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about it always seems off. ![]() They also serve burgers, they offer singles and doubles, but beware the double chee is pretty big. Participating restaurants in the Taste of Vienna are: Ben & Jerrys Grove Poke & Salad Bowl Harth Restaurant Kays Smoothies by Food Fest The Fermented Pig Tonys NY Pizza Flemings Prime. They use the same beef on their other sandwiches, my personal favorite being the Zesty Chef (beef, pepperoni, ham, mozzarella, onions, green peppers, and ranch), sooo hot and delicious, and they're pretty generous with the cheese. Delivery & Pickup Options - 3 reviews of Family Pizza nice little pizza place just make sure you have cash. Their italian beef is unlike most you'll get around these parts rather than using the typical Louie's Italian Beef Au Jus that most places do, they instead use their own Italian seasonings and cut out the au jus, and the result is a tasty, tasty sandwich. 'Family Pizza' was opened in Vienna IL in 1987 by Larry and Sandy Jones and is now owned and operate. Their menu has some variety to it, it's not the largest menu you'll get around by a long shot, but they've still got some goodies. ![]() Truth be told, I never actually tried one of their pizzas until this year, and even then I was always satisfied. I've been going to this place since I first moved to Tunnel Hill in 2000, and it's always been great. ![]()
